So Alan has harvested this year's ice wine grapes, and they look great!! We make the Longview Winery Sweet Winter Ice with the sweet and wonderful Cayuga grape, the best ice wine grape ever! The Cayuga grape is a hybrid grape, specifically designet at Cornell University for cold-climate conditions, and has proven to be perfect for the Leelenau Peninsula and our funky climate. Our last vintage took gold medal at the Finger Lakes International Competition (check it out in our available wine selection), we expect this year's to be just as good or better due to the fantastic season.

Wonderful winery and restaurant! Of course, we love your ice wine but cannot afford it so we occasionally taste it. We have purchased lots of your Rustic White and enjoy it in Leelanau and Arizona!
